Will my Collar look exactly like the one in the photograph? TOP

The answer is maybe...We make every product custom when you order it, and because of that each collar/leash is unique.

Patterns that have a definite focal point (i.e. Sock Monkeys, Pop-Art, Happy Hour) will always be cut to feature that focal point, but depending on how wide the product that you order is, it may be a different part of the pattern than the one featured in the photograph (i.e. 2" and 1.5" wide collars have 2 rows of Sock Monkeys on them, 1" and thinner have only a single money).

Patterns that are more abstract (i.e. Retro Jacks, Skulls and the Klimt series) will vary from collar to collar even if they are the same width. One of our criteria for choosing the fabrics for our line, is that every part of the pattern should be fun and interesting. However, if you would like us to try and make your collar as close the photograph as possible, simply leave us a note in the "additional Information" section and we will do our best to accomadate your request.

How long will it take to get my order? TOP

Since we make all of our products to order, it will take about 7-10 days from when we receive your order to when it ships. We ship using USPS Priority, so shipping takes at most 3 days (longer if you live outside of the continental US), and we will send you an e-mail when your order ships so that you know when to expect it.

Wedding Harnesses ship roughly 10-14 days after you place your order due to the extra labor involved, so please plan accordingly.

We can occasionally put a rush on your order if you need it by a certain date - just contact us prior to placing your order to see if your request can be accommodated.

How do I wash my collar/leash? TOP

Casual Sportswear:

This line can be machine washed on a gentle setting using cold water and a mild detergent. We recommend that you air dry your leashes and collars since the hardware we use can be harsh on your dryer. If necessary they can be ironed on a medium setting.

Silk Formalwear and Ring-Bearer Harnesses:

We officially recommend that you dry clean our silk collars, leashes and wedding harnesses. However, they can be occasionally hand washed in cool water with a mild detergent (Woolite or a castille soap works well). It is best to soak (rather than scrub) them, and lay flat to dry. The silk collars can also be ironed on a medium setting if necessary.

I live in Seattle too! Can I just pick my order up? TOP

We don’t have a shop of our own, but the kind folks at Zak & Zoe’s on Phinney Ridge (right next to the 74th Street Alehouse) have agreed to hold orders for pick-up at their shop! Once your order’s ready (usually about 7-10 days from when you place it - we’ll send you an e-mail to let you know), you can drop by there any day between 12-6 and simply tell the clerk that you’re there to retrieve your K-nine Couture order.

Can I find K-nine Couture in stores? TOP

Yes! There are currently about 16 stores that carry our line, and thanks to the efforts of our dedicated sales rep (her name is Debbie Dean and we can’t thank her enough for her help...) this number is growing everyday!
